René Mathieu: gastronome, poet, herbalist, amateur of forgotten vegetables… Can we thus sum up a career already so rich and yet still surprising? This young man, who moved four years ago from Belgium to Luxemburg, continues to shine in the Kitchen.
His passion for herbs and forgotten vegetables give richness to his dishes that include lobster, crayfish and squab. Rene enjoys describing his dishes using a play on words whose subtlety makes you smile.
He awakens all the senses, the sense of smell often before the visual. Then comes the desires to touch, to feel and to savor. More than a work of art, his dish is a piece of theater which unfolds before you. Then, it is up to you as a participant or actor to join in this feast prepared by this master of the arts and herbs.
