The World Gourmet Summit Las Vegas is an annual event of The International Food & Beverage Forum and The International Food & Beverage Forum Hall of Fame Society in association with WGS America LLC, Kurt H. Fischer & Associates LLC, Gustav’s Master Chef Catering, Le Cordon Bleu College of Culinary Arts Las Vegas, the Signature at MGM Grand, and other sponsors.
-
The World Gourmet Summit Las Vegas is a food and wine extravaganza including culinary demonstrations & wine-pairing classes, gourmet dinners, and a Grand Gourmet Safari, with over 80 wineries presenting in excess of 150 wines and internationally renowned Master Chefs presenting their favorite specialties.
-
The World Gourmet Summit Las Vegas offers wine and food enthusiasts an opportunity to hear from top Food & Beverage executives from five continents, to meet internationally renowned Master Chefs and celebrity Winemakers, and to rub shoulders with fellow devotees from around the world.
-
All events are open to the general public.
The main goal of this event is to raise scholarship funds for hospitality students.
-
To achieve this goal every member and benefactor of the International Food & Beverage Forum and the International Food & Beverage Forum Hall of Fame Society donates auction items, such as stays in luxury hotels around the world and dinners in the greatest restaurants of our industry.
-
Other donations are made by friends of the International Food & Beverage Forum members.
-
All auction items, featuring those hotel stays, dinners in top restaurants, and fine wines, are promoted on a special website and offered on this site for a pre World Gourmet Summit bidding. During the various events of the World Gourmet Summit Las Vegas live auctions are organized to finalize the sales of all auction items.
-
The proceeds of those auctions go entirely to the International Food & Beverage Forum Education Fund to support our goal to raise scholarship funds for hospitality students.
-
Since 1996, the International Food & Beverage Forum has honored 15 Restaurateurs of the year, inducted 24 persons into the Hall of Fame. For each honoree the International Food & Beverage Forum donated $ 10,000.00 for scholarships for hospitality students. A total of US $ 550,000 were distributed at several colleges and universities in the United States.
